Carol Tornetta from Hard Hill Farm in Berks County has been involved in fiber arts for more than 40 years and currently is shepherdess to alpaca and angora goats.
Carol will offer various farm to finished items such as handspun, naturally sourced yarn, hand-dyed using historic, natural dyes. These soft beautiful shades naturally complement one another and work beautifully together in a multi-colored project.
Along with that Carol says, “My work in this area has led me to study textile production and history more deeply. The historic role of women in fiber work is greatly underestimated. I am always happy to discuss this with visitors.”
